Job summary

Padgett Law Group is seeking an Attorney - Foreclosure for Alabama to join a nationwide creditors' rights practice. The role focuses on drafting and reviewing foreclosure-related documents, coordinating with paralegals, and supporting appearances in mediation, court, and sheriff sales.

The candidate should be a J.D. with Alabama licensure, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team.

We are currently recruiting for an Attorney - Foreclosure (Alabama).

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney
• Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.

Requirements

• J.D., licensed in Alabama and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who have been licensed for at least 5 years.
• Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
