Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Sample Coordinator to manage footwear samples for multiple divisions, maintain showroom accuracy, and coordinate shipments for events and photo shoots. This role requires organization, communication, and the ability to lift boxes and travel between Skechers offices in Manhattan Beach.

The position supports product development and merchandising teams, ensuring samples are current, properly displayed, and available for meetings and virtual presentations.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work in a professional manner.
• Must have proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, provide a high level of attention to detail, and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Must be able to move and lift boxes of footwear samples between buildings.
• Must be able to travel by company vehicle between the Skechers office buildings through Manhattan Beach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain assigned division’s showrooms multiple times a day, including organizing walls and auditing rooms.
• Organize and maintain storage dress shops; oversee samples inflow and outflow.
• Coordinate sample shipments and distributions for conferences, trade shows, and photo shoots; ensure on-time delivery and ETD communication with Asia offices.
• Distribute incoming development, fit, national account, and confirmation samples; work with sales reps and product team for sample usage.
• Create invoices for box samples and photos; track samples and maintain line sheet accuracy.
