Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will support sales goals, maintain store presentation, and act as a role model for accurate, complete work in a fast-paced footwear environment.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, basic math and policy knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to help customers find the right products and promotions.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills to engage customers.
• Strong organization and math abilities for transactions.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising and store presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience aligned with service standards.
• Support sales goals and work with store management.
• Lead by example in accuracy and completeness of work.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and stock arrangements.
• Process sales and POS transactions following policy.
• Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving, and floor merchandising.
