Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a customer-focused associate to support daily store operations and drive sales. You will help customers, maintain store presentation, and process transactions, while promoting promotions and rewards programs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to company policies in a fast-paced footwear retail environment. Ideal candidates will have prior retail experience, strong interpersonal and math skills, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping

Qualifications

Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
Basic verbal and non-verbal communication, plus organizational skills.
Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

Create an excellent shopping experience for customers following service standards.
Stay aware of current sales promotions and participate in promotions.
Maintain merchandise presentation, stock arrangement, and store cleanliness.
Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
Be aware of Loss Prevention concerns for customers and staff.
Assist in inventories, shipping/receiving, and floor merchandising as needed.
Process all sales and POS transactions accurately and in accordance with policy.
