Job summary

Caleres Inc. in St. Louis, MO, invites applications for a Product Coordinator who will help manage sample ordering, maintain logs, and support cross-functional teams.

If you have an eye for detail and a passion for fashion, this is your chance to influence how popular brands are shown to customers. You will collaborate with sales and overseas offices on line planning, prepare for shoe shows, and assemble line sheets, photo logs, and wallcharts.

Qualifications

• College degree in Design, Development or Merchandising.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with a PLM program is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert: Become an expert in sample ordering. Maintain a sample log for customer sample requests and samples sent to customers for early approval.
• Support and Partner: Partner with sales to understand customer needs and assist with line planning, as needed. Work with overseas offices to coordinate sample shipping; staying abreast of any changes that will affect or delay sample delivery.Advise Sales team of changes, including material and finishing problems; and any quality issues.
• Assist with preparation for shoe shows and customer presentations, including assuring that key samples, line sheets, photo logs, wallcharts are available.
