Job summary

VF is seeking an Senior Engineer in Sourcing Development for Footwear to drive development sample quality and on-time milestones within the product creation calendar. You will oversee commercialization timing, coordinate Tier 2 activities at factories, and ensure engineering for productivity, quality, integrity, and performance per VF standards.

You will collaborate across functions to support VF’s product initiatives, ensuring production quality, on-time performance, and adherence to VF

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, commercialization, pre-production and production in footwear.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage development processes with Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors across all sample stages.
• Inspect development samples, including sales samples across countries of origin.
• Plan Buy Ready process by SKU and ensure sample readiness.
• Communicate product and performance requirements to vendors; resolve construction, cost and process issues.
• Coordinate factory capacity and material purchasing aligned with production calendar.
• Introduce new products and cascade quality risks during NPI meetings.
• Provide Pre-Production & Production support as needed.
