Job summary

NVA General Practice is seeking a Director of Market & Network Strategy to define the company’s footprint by market, determine where to invest, and shape the configuration of GP, Specialty, and ER/Urgent Care locations. You will lead market-planning and network-design work, testing scenarios with cross-functional partners to guide investment and execution planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in network strategy, market planning, portfolio strategy, or multi-site planning.
• Experience evaluating physical networks or multi-site portfolios and recommending expansions, relocations, consolidations, or new-site development.
• Strong capability in market sizing, demand-and-supply analysis, competitive assessment, and portfolio scenario development.
• Experience translating analysis into explicit choices about facility mix, capacity, geographic coverage, and investment sequencing.
• Ability to frame tradeoffs and present a clear recommendation when multiple footprint configurations are viable.
• Experience partnering with real estate, finance, growth, and operations teams while retaining ownership of the strategic market and network thesis.
• Experience in veterinary, healthcare services, consumer services, or distributed multi-site environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise market-planning process and establish a prioritized view of where to invest, reshape, or reduce physical presence.
• Size and rank market opportunities using demand, competition, demographics, consumer economics, and industry dynamics.
• Assess current footprint for coverage, capacity, density, and gaps by market.
• Define future-state network for priority markets, including facility mix, capacity, and geographic coverage.
• Evaluate network actions and compare footprint configurations and sequencing.
• Develop market-level portfolio scenarios showing impact on coverage and position.
• Set priorities for analysts and ensure analyses answer concrete footprint decisions.

Education

Bachelor's degree (Business/Finance/ Economics/Strategy/Real Estate/Analytics)

MBA or related advanced degree
