Job summary

Stryker Foot & Ankle is seeking a Sales Associate to partner with Sales Representatives in learning the medical device industry and driving growth in the Foot & Ankle business within the assigned territory.

The role involves attending surgeries to ensure product availability, educating surgeons and staff on product use and updates, and building strong customer relationships to identify opportunities and support sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree or Medical Certification (i.e. CST, PT, CPT) + at least 2 years of professional and/or related experience
• High School Diploma + at least 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• 4+ years of active duty military service

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Sales Representatives to learn the medical device industry and Foot & Ankle business, then contribute to growth in the assigned territory.
• Attend surgeries in which Stryker Foot & Ankle products are used to ensure product availability and instruct surgeons on product use and functionality.
• Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, functionality, updates, and portfolio changes.
• Work with sales teams to contact customers, identify sales opportunities, deliver excellent customer service, and develop customer relationships.
• Identify needs of new prospects with the assigned Sales Representative and develop appropriate responses.
• Tailor Stryker's promotional message after training and advise on product selection based on customer knowledge.
• Perform field calls for accounts and territory.
• Assist in implementing new sales plans and marketing strategies to meet/exceed targets.
• Serve as backup contact for Sales Representatives and maintain regulatory compliance awareness.
• Assist in resolving problems or questions in accounts.
• Partner on inventory management and building proper inventory levels and sets.
• Process Customer Purchase Orders for proper invoicing and maintain training in sales skills and products.
• Market product line based on functionality and competitive differentiation; stay informed on industry trends.
• Attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular hours.
• Adhere to compliance and responsibility principles, protect assets, and follow laws and company policies.
