Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Away from Home (AFH)/Foodservice division in Massachusetts. The TSR will develop and execute strategic sales plans, build relationships with Foodservice Operators and Distributor customers, and drive revenue within the designated territory.

Expect 65–75% travel, strong negotiation and product knowledge, and collaboration with marketing, customer service, and product development to grow Flowers Bakeries' AFH portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in foodservice.
• Willingness to travel 65–75% of the week.
• Experience negotiating customer terms and pricing.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to maximize revenue generation within the assigned territory, including prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling sales visits.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and challenges to provide customized solutions and foster loyalty.
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities by prospecting and acquiring new customers, expanding the company's customer base.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Flowers Bakeries AFH product offerings, communicates this information through product demonstrations and presentations.
• Negotiates customer terms and pricing agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Records sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline using CRM and TPM software; prepares reports for management.
