Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales and build strong customer relationships across Ocean County, NJ. You’ll manage existing accounts, pursue new business, and partner with specialists to maximize growth and profitability.

In this role you’ll learn our products, pricing strategies, and ordering platforms while delivering exceptional service. A valid driver’s license and prior foodservice sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required, and motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
• Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• A competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals.
• Problem solving ability / organization and negotiation skills.
• Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tech-savviness - proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
• Have the ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be the Customer Champion: Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model.
• Drive Sales Success: Sell to customers, increase case growth, and acquire new business.
• Team Based Selling: Collaborate with Specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts.
• Lead with Insight: Develop new business using market intelligence and networking.
• Delivery Resolution: Manage deliveries to routing schedules and troubleshoot order issues.
• Competitive Advantage: Stay informed about market conditions, products, and competitors.
• Stay on the Move: Travel to check ins and site visits for customer satisfaction.
