Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to fuel growth across a defined region. You will nurture existing accounts, hunt for new business, and lead with a customer-first approach.

You will collaborate with specialists, marketing, and supply chain to ensure successful deliveries, pricing strategies, and effective presentations that drive earnings and incentives. Daily field work, driving your own vehicle to visit customers, and using market insights to identify opportunities will be core.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Experience selling to restaurants/foodservice preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Tech-savvy; CRM experience considered a plus.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own and nurture customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
• Sell to customers, grow case volume, and acquire new business.
• Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service.
• Develop new business using market intelligence and prospecting leads.
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve order issues in the routing process.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to provide value-added insights.
• Regularly visit customers within the assigned territory.
