Job summary

Kjl Market is looking for a Foodservice leader to run the Bluebird Kitchen area, ensuring quality, safety, and excellent guest service. You will train hosts, manage inventory, and help schedule staff while promoting products to guests.

The role emphasizes food safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced store environment, offering growth opportunities and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and in a team.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of service and Deli/Bakery operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts, including training and development.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and colleagues.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are maintained.
• Train, coach, develop, and provide feedback to Foodservice hosts.
• Ensure hosts provide guests with high level of service.
• Follow practices to achieve budgeted sales, shrink, and profits for Bluebird Kitchen.
• Monitor and manage inventory to ensure food quality and supply levels.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Floco Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service.
• Assist the Bluebird Kitchen Manager with scheduling for the Foodservice area.
• Engage with guests to promote products and services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
