Kj’s Market is seeking a Bluebird Kitchen Manager to lead the Bluebird Kitchen/Deli/Bakery department in delivering exceptional guest experiences and menu execution. You will train and coach hosts and assistants, manage inventories, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to supervise and develop hosts and assistant managers.
• Knowledge of kitchen, deli and bakery operations.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and handle station tasks.
• Proficient in basic computer systems used in-store operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are maintained.
• Train and coach department hosts and Assistant Managers.
• Maintain service levels aligned with store standards and brand rituals.
• Collaborate with store teams to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Manage inventory, food costs, shrink, and labor within budget.
• Create department schedules to meet business needs.
• Execute merchandising programs and weekly sales plans.
• Ensure product quality meets company standards.
