Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Dekalb, IL is seeking a Sales & Marketing Representative to grow our customer base in Dekalb, Sycamore and surrounding markets. You will visit restaurants and other customers, promote our products, and help develop business plans and territory growth.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of sales or restaurant experience, plus a valid driver's license. Salary is $65–75K with commissions; top performers exceed $100K.

The Sales & Marketing Representative will perform the following duties in Dekalb and Sycamore, IL and the surrounding market area:

• Market Performance Foodservice’s high quality products and superior foodservice delivery to a wide range of customers including restaurants, cafeterias and related businesses within a geographical sales territory.
• Regularly visit customers and prospective customer locations.
• Grow market share by opening new accounts
• Develop business by being a champion of company branded products.
• Develop and execute business plans.
• Ensure that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
• Manage pricing, collect money and monitor credit term compliance.
• Effectively manage time and resources to attain results.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
• Valid Drivers License

Compensation

We offer a salary between $65-75K, based upon experience, during training. Post training, reps will earn commissions + subsidy until they scale their territory to 100% commission. Top performers can earn well over $100,000 annually!
