Performance Foodservice seeks a motivated Sales & Marketing Representative to expand the customer base and promote Performance Foodservice products in Dekalb, Sycamore, IL, and surrounding areas. The role involves visiting clients, growing market share, and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.

Ideal candidates bring 6-12 months in sales or restaurant experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Market Performance Foodservice's high quality products and superior foodservice delivery to a wide range of customers within a geographical sales territory.
• Regularly visit customers and prospective customer locations.
• Grow market share by opening new accounts.
• Develop business by championing company branded products.
• Develop and execute business plans.
• Ensure independent and regional account business meets sales and profit objectives.
• Manage pricing, collect payments, and monitor credit term compliance.
• Effectively manage time and resources to attain results.

The Sales & Marketing Representative will perform the following duties in Dekalb and Sycamore, IL and the surrounding market area:

• Market Performance Foodservice's high quality products and superior foodservice delivery to a wide range of customers including restaurants, cafeterias and related businesses within a geographical sales territory.
• Regularly visit customers and prospective customer locations.
• Grow market share by opening new accounts
• Develop business by being a champion of company branded products.
• Develop and execute business plans.
• Ensure that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
• Manage pricing, collect money and monitor credit term compliance.
• Effectively manage time and resources to attain results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
• Valid Drivers License

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelors Degree Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or related area
• 1-2 years foodservice sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
