Performance Foodservice in Boone, NC is seeking a sales-oriented professional to develop independent account business, expand profitability through new sales and account penetration, and support customer service for regional and national accounts. You will promote and sell company-branded products, meet brand objectives, and collaborate with the team to maximize market share in the Boone area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 1 year of restaurant management experience (kitchen manager or general manager).
• 1 year experience in the hospitality or outside sales industry.
• Valid Drivers License with a clean MVR.
• Must live within 45 minutes of territory.

Responsabilités

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and individual customers; samples products with existing and potential customers; plans general sales strategy including time and territory management; plans sales approach with individual customers; and conducts effective sales presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis to meet established sales and margin goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts by determining pricing; works with Credit Department for initial authorization; other center personnel for scheduling order-taking, deliveries, etc.
• Performs initial follow-up work with customer ensuring delivery and product satisfaction.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, particularly on market driven / commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.
• This position is for the Boone, NC area, Travel may be required outside of this area.
