Job summary

Performance Foodservice, part of Performance Food Group, is hiring to develop independent account business with emphasis on profitability through new sales and account penetration. The role promotes company-branded products and supports service activities for regional and national accounts.

The position involves teamwork within the department and organization, taking on duties to best serve the company and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6–12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes sales territory and customers to generate additional business.
• Samples products with customers and plans sales strategy.
• Conducts effective sales presentations.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through exemplary service.
• Maintains awareness of pricing trends in territory.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
