Food Worker Position at University of Iowa Health Care

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Food Worker to perform general food preparation duties using standardized recipes and procedures, as well as clean preparation areas and equipment.

1. Assemble patient trays
2. Retrieve various food items from Ala Carte kitchen
3. Portion cold food items to patient tray assembly
4. Deliver patient trays

Percent of Time: 50%

Schedule: 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm, rotating weekends

Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

Location: General Hospital

Salary: $16.97/hr
