Extrusion Production Worker

Job Responsibilities:

1. Operate on the Extrusion Press Line, communicating effectively with team members.
2. Inspect materials for squareness, flatness, bow, and gauge as per work instructions.
3. Operate saws safely and maintain quality cuts.
4. Troubleshoot common saw blade problems and understand blade styles.
5. Follow work instructions for saw duties.
6. Operate stretching equipment according to order specifications.
7. Monitor metal quality during stretching using measuring tools.
8. Maintain a clean and debris-free work area.
9. Perform basic maintenance on saws to ensure optimal performance.
10. Train backup operators.
11. Act as backup for press operators and head stretchers, requiring cross-training.
12. Follow process sheets and written instructions accurately.
13. Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
