Job summary

US Foods in Charlotte, NC is seeking a warehouse support associate to help train junior teammates and keep daily operations running smoothly. You will prepare and process routine forms, reports, and documents, handle inbound/outbound paperwork, and ensure accurate data entry.

You will coordinate with internal/external customers, resolve inquiries, and monitor performance metrics such as shorts, mispicks, and on-time shipping, while working in a cold storage environment with occasional office

Qualifications

• Two years production, manufacturing or warehouse experience required.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support in training and developing junior teammates.
• Prepare and process routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound/outbound, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels).
• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs; respond to inquiries by researching information.
• Collect, track, and input data on operations metrics to support warehouse performance tracking.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
• Check returns and credit slips and assemble returned orders for proper return to picking slot; investigate picking errors and missing products.
• Complete outbound paperwork and reports for selecting crew, route loading, drivers, and trucks; update master storage report.
