Mercy Medical Center Mt Shasta is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to lead daily food preparation, service, and sanitation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will manage staff, provide training, maintain inventory, and drive customer satisfaction within budget.

We value strong organizational leadership, attention to detail in food service, and the ability to motivate a team to deliver high-quality dining experiences for patients and the community.

Formación

• Two (2) years of experience in food service.
• One (1) year of hospital nutrition experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent at hire.
• RD credential within 24 months.
• CDM credential within 24 months.
• SERVSAFE MANAGER credential upon hire.
• SERVSAFE GEN credential within 60 days.

Responsabilidades

• Directs storeroom clerk, cooks and other FNS team members and ensures operational coverage.
• Collaborates to implement infection control practices to maintain a safe storage facility.
• Maintains communication with patients, staff, and customers about service levels and relays data to management.
• Maintains adequate staffing reflecting cost efficiency; assists with recruiting and performance management.
• Collaborates in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services.

Conocimientos

Food service experience

Hospital nutrition experience

Educación

Associates Degree or equivalent

Registered Dietitian (RD) within 24 months

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) within 24 months

SERVSAFE Manager certification

SERVSAFE General certification within 60 days
