Yona in Medina, OH is seeking a Manager in Training for Food Services to assist with organizing, planning, directing and supervising the dietary department that serves residents in a long-term care facility. The MIT will learn to lead quality dining programs and support the Food Services Director.

• Two years of supervisory experience in food service; long-term care experience preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification and CDM/CFPP credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Services Director with leading dining programs to enhance residents' meals.
• Ensure programs meet federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.
• Train staff on procedures and equipment use; supervise department employees.
• Plan staffing and schedules; maintain inventory, compliance and records.
• Maintain cost-effective budget practices and resident/visitor relations.
• Promote resident satisfaction and participate in facility meetings.
