• Education/Experience: additional education may substitute for work experience and vice versa.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation of food, following dietary orders, to meet menu requirements.
• Makes beverages such as coffee and tea; prepares snacks and supplemental dietary orders.
• Serves food to staff and residents per diet order or supervisor's instructions.
• Prepares trays of food for distribution following individual diet orders and labels items for delivery.
• Distributes food trays to dining rooms via large food carts.
• Cleans serving/cooking utensils, dishes and pots/pans and work areas per standards.
• Operates dishwasher and food service equipment; reports breakdowns to supervisor.
• Stocks dietary areas with supplies.
