New Hampshire Veterans Home in Tilton, NH is hiring Food Service Workers for full-time roles. You will assist in meal preparation, plating trays, serving residents, and maintaining sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

Flexible schedules include early morning shifts with some weekend work; wage range is $14.40 to $18.46 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour for certain weekend shifts. Join a team dedicated to dignified care for NH veterans.

Formación

• 8th grade education is required.
• Must possess clean personal health and sanitation habits.
• Experience as waiter, waitress, dining room attendant or food service worker preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the preparation for, and the setup of, individual trays for food distribution.
• Sets-up for meal service, takes food orders, serves residents and cleans dining rooms.
• Operates dishwashing machine, food disposal, toaster and heat on demand unit.
• Assists with passing of trays, collecting of trays and cleaning tables and chairs in patient areas.
• Stocks all work areas and unit kitchenettes.
• Cleans all floor areas in dining rooms, kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• May be involved in cooking or otherwise preparing foods as directed by cook or dietary team.
• Trains new employees as needed.
• Performs extra cleaning assignments as directed by shift leaders.
