Job summary

Jacksons is hiring for a full-time Food Service Crew member in Marsing, ID. You will prepare fresh food or serve at the counter, delivering a high-quality guest experience and supporting daily store operations.

Shift: Full-time 2:00pm – Midnight. Pay: $15.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement, plus opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and invite them back.
• Serve as the go-to expert for fast food, deli, and beverage programs.
• Actively sample items to build customer interest and drive sales.
• Keep food service equipment clean and report issues.
• Follow sanitation, food safety, prep, and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs.
• Crosstrain as a cashier and support store operations.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
