Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. in Meridian, ID is hiring for a Full-time Food Service Crew member, offering $15.50 per hour and a full-time schedule from 2:00pm to midnight. You will greet customers, assist with fast food, deli, and beverage programs, and help drive sales by sampling items and keeping areas clean.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and invite them back.
• Serve as the go-to expert for fast food, deli, and beverage programs.
• Actively sample food items to build customer interest and drive sales.
• Keep food service equipment clean and report issues as needed.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, prep, and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized food, coffee, and checkout areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs as required.
• Cross-train as a cashier and support store operations as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Shift: Full-time 2:00pm - Midnight.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
