Jacksons in Wilder, ID is hiring a part-time team member for a fast-paced convenience store. You will greet customers, promote food and beverage programs, sample items, and help keep the store clean and well stocked.

This role offers a $15.50 hourly wage, 2:00pm–Midnight shifts, flexible 24/7 availability, and benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan. Training and advancement opportunities are available; we value teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• A Food Handlers Permit as required by local regulations.

Responsabilités

• Greet every customer with a smile and invite them back.
• Serve as the go‑to expert for fast food, deli and beverage programs.
• Actively sample items to build customer interest and drive sales.
• Keep food service equipment clean and report issues.
• Follow sanitation, food safety, prep and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked food, coffee and checkout areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs as required.
• Cross-train as a cashier and support store operations as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Serve as the go-to expert for fast food, deli, and beverage programs and promotions.

• Follow all sanitation, food safety, prep, and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized food, coffee, and checkout areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs as required.
• Crosstrain as a cashier and support store operations as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

• Previous food handling experience is a plus.
• A Food Handlers Permit as required by the county, city, or state.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
