Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores, Inc. in Parma, ID is seeking part-time Food Service Crew members. The role involves greeting customers, serving at the counter, and promoting fast food, deli, and beverage programs.

You will help sample items to boost sales and maintain clean prep and service areas. The job requires flexibility for 24/7 operations, prior food handling experience is a plus, and a Food Handler Permit may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Serve as the go-to expert for fast food, deli, and beverage programs and promotions.
• Actively sample food items to build customer interest and drive sales.
• Keep food service equipment clean and in top condition; report issues as needed.
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, prep, and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized food, coffee, and checkout areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs as required.
• Cross-train as a cashier and support store operations as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Shift: Part-time 2:00pm - Midnight.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
