Job summary

Jacksons is seeking a Food Service Assistant Manager in Bothell to lead a fast-paced, customer-focused team and drive sales by delivering great tasting food and executing our fast-food program. You will train staff, monitor KPI dashboards, and ensure sanitation and high service standards.

This full-time role requires flexible availability, a Food Handlers Permit, and strong communication. You will engage customers, manage orders, and mentor teammates while advancing within the company.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation including holidays and weekends.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by local authorities.
• Willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in the food service industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication with a friendly can-do attitude.
• Ability to read and analyze basic spreadsheets.
• History of leading by example and doing the right thing; teamwork.
• Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a smile and thank them for their business.
• Complete all food ordering for the store.
• Maintain appropriate levels of prep items and food.
• Train and mentor fast-food team members across programs.
• Actively sample products to drive sales and offer bounce-back coupons.
• Ensure equipment is clean and working and report maintenance needs.
• Review KPI dashboard weekly and share opportunities with the team.
• Complete waste sheets and temperature logs daily; uphold hold times.
• Ensure sanitation and proper storage/disposal procedures.
• Participate in store meetings and present food-related material.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $19.20 - $20.20 an hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcome every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back.
• Complete all food ordering for the store.
• Maintain appropriate levels of prep items and food, checking/adjusting daily.
• Teach and train Fast Food Team Members in all food service, deli, and beverage promotions and programs and manage training for all fast-food employees.
• Actively sample fast food, deli, and beverage products to drive sales and offer bounce back coupons when needed.
• Ensure Fast Food equipment is clean and in proper working condition and report any maintenance or issues to the store manager.
• Review KPI Dashboard on a weekly basis and communicate success and opportunities with team.
• Complete waste sheets and temperature log daily and ensure all food hold times are upheld.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed.
• Participate in store meetings and present food related material as required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.

• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
