Reports to a Food Service Director and works on-site inside a jail. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and possess prior institutional food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to schedules and procedures.
• Train other food service workers and maintain safety standards.

• Stand for extended periods and handle lifting and bending as needed.
