Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and food service operations inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals following menus and training, reporting to a Food Service Director and working onsite in a jail setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and preferably prior institutional food service experience. We offer robust benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18 years of age minimum.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
