Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and a team in a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of items, follow menus, and use kitchen equipment, reporting to a Food Service Director. The position is on-site inside a jail with a weekend/holiday rotation and shift from 11am to 7pm.

We require a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18. Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of food items following menus and recipes.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Stand for extended periods; perform lifting and bending as needed.
