Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen operations inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of menu items, following instructions and using standard utensils. Reports to a Food Service Director.

On-site role in a jail. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license, and preferably have prior institutional food service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking and standing for extended periods.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for long shifts.
• Other duties as determined by operational needs.
