Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals following menus and safety standards, using a variety of utensils and equipment.

You report to the Food Service Director and work on-site. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, plus prior institutional food service experience, a team‑forward mindset, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
