Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor in a correctional facility kitchen. You will supervise the team, prepare and serve meals, and ensure compliance with menus and recipes while using appropriate kitchen equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old; prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred. Onsite work inside a jail/correctional facility with daily duties and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred experience in institutional food service or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils and equipment to cook and portion food.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Stand for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other duties as needed.
