Job summary

Trinity Services Group seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff in a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve food, follow menus, and operate cooking utensils and equipment.

Report to a Food Service Director; work on-site inside a jail. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and is at least 18 years old, with preferred institutional food service experience. Benefits and DailyPay access are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Physical demands include items such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
