Time to advance your career! We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors at Norton Correctional Facility. You will work alongside a manager to coordinate and oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and assist where needed. We look forward to supporting your growth and passion.

Starting Pay: $16/hour

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (sheets and recipes).
2. Direct daily activities.
3. Ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
4. Store food items safely and organize storage areas.
5. Maintain serving schedules; ensure food is served per menu specifications safely and appropriately.
6. Maintain a sanitary environment following health and safety codes.
7. Manage inventory weekly; prepare orders as needed.
8. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
9. Ensure a safe working environment.
10. Train and mentor staff.
11. Keep logs on maintenance and equipment; perform preventative checks.
12. Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
13. Perform multi-tasking efficiently.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
15. Fill in for absent employees when necessary.
16. Coordinate catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
17. Work occasional night and weekend events.
18. Attend staff meetings and maintain communication via email, phone, and inter-office mail.
19. Perform cashier duties if needed.
20. Promote positive public relations.
