Summary
The Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is recruiting for a Food Service Worker Supervisor. The Food Service Worker Supervisor will work within Nutrition and Food Services. The primary responsibilities include procuring essential items, managing budgets, and ensuring contract compliance. Additional duties involve inventory control, enforcing HACCP guidelines, supervising staff, and maintaining government vehicles.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 0600 to 1430
Position Description Title/PD#: Food Service Supervisor/PD931190
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently. Occasionally lift over 40 pounds with assistance. Must maintain concentration and alertness. Work involves temperature extremes, noise, and exposure to steam, heat, and odors.
Work Environment: Food service areas can be hot, noisy, and uncomfortable, with exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals. Safety precautions are necessary to prevent injuries.

Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate experience or training sufficient to perform the duties. Evidence must be detailed in your resume. Rating based on OPM standards. Experience includes paid, unpaid, volunteer, or military service. Full-time experience is considered 35-40 hours/week. Part-time experience is credited proportionally.
