Position Description

As Myfresh Cafe or Amato's coordinator, you will oversee daily operations to ensure an optimal customer experience and smooth kitchen functioning. Your responsibilities include directing food preparation for hot plate and cold well products to maximize sales, minimize spoilage waste, and maintain Food Safety Standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders following food prep procedures; ensure hot and cold stations are stocked with fresh grab-and-go items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work environment, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment and surfaces.
• Receive, rotate, and store incoming supplies properly.
• Communicate positively with kitchen and store staff; seek help when needed.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to hire, manage, and train kitchen staff.
• Manage inventory levels and place orders to prevent shortages.
• Communicate effectively with staff and address issues appropriately.
• Organize inventory to reduce waste and ensure proper product dating.
• Conduct temperature checks and document results.
• Complete shift tasks assigned by the Store Manager and handle unexpected tasks.
• Lead the kitchen during busy periods and direct staff accordingly.
• Create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
• Record waste and implement proactive waste reduction strategies.

Essential Characteristics

• Kitchen experience and valid food safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Capability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Availability

Shifts vary based on location and business needs. As a leader, you will work flexible hours to ensure proper coverage and staff training across all shifts. Coordinate with the manager for shift coverage.
