Job summary

Snelling Staffing Lexington seeks a Food Service Worker for a fast-paced kitchen in Lexington, KY. Shifts include Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM and Saturday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

You will wash, prep, cook, and serve food, follow recipes, and help maintain sanitation and safety standards. Responsibilities include handling ingredients, portion control, assisting customers, and supporting coworkers to meet service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must meet safe and local health requirements for food handlers.
• Must possess a valid Food handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits.
• Weigh and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations.
• Stores foods in designated areas following dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Interacts with coworkers to ensure compliance with service standards and cash control.
