Job summary

Snelling Staffing Lexington is seeking a dependable food service worker for our client in Lexington, KY. The role involves preparing, presenting, and serving food across shifts (7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 9:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM).

You will wash, prep, portion, and store ingredients, maintain sanitary work areas, and help guests with a friendly, efficient service. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and a valid food handlers permit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training acceptable.
• Must meet safe and local health requirements for food handlers.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, and seed vegetables and fruits.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Properly store foods with wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Resolve customer concerns.
• Interact with co-workers to maintain service standards and inventory control.
• Ensure sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
