Job summary

Snelling Staffing Lexington is seeking a dependable food service worker to prepare, present, and serve meals in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes accurate recipe execution, proper portion control, and friendly customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.

You will follow ServSafe sanitation guidelines, maintain clean work areas, and assist with stock rotation. A GED or high school diploma and a food handler certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Must meet safe and local health requirements for food handlers.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write simple notes.

Responsibilities

• Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits.
• Weigh and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Properly stores foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Interacts with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards, and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
