Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Must meet safe local health requirements for food handlers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Must possess valid Food handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, cut, and seed vegetables and fruits.
• Weigh and measures designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations.
• Properly store foods with wrapping, dating, and rotation.
• Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and portable equipment.
• Use approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serve customers efficiently and politely.
• Resolve customer concerns.
• Coordinate with coworkers to meet service standards.
• Ensure sanitation, ServSafe and safety compliance.
