Job summary

Pollo Tropical is seeking a Team Member to assist in greeting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Responsibilities include handling cash, relaying orders to the kitchen, stocking supplies, and ensuring a positive guest experience.

You must be at least 16 years old, able to communicate with customers, multitask, and follow food safety rules. Training on POS systems, kitchen screens, and recipes will be provided; ability to use iPads

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers.
• Place customer food and beverage orders through verbal communication and/or automated systems.
• Relay customer food and beverage orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment while following food safety procedures.
• Stock kitchen and customer service operations with necessary food, beverage, packaging and service materials.
• Fill food and beverage orders as part of the kitchen and service operations.
• Collect customer payments and provide correct change using cash registers.
