Job summary

MFA Oil's Break Time location is seeking a Shift Lead to support food service operations and day-to-day store activities. You will help manage team tasks, ensure fast, friendly customer service, and uphold quality standards for food preparation and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, handling transactions, and coordinating with management to maintain store standards and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler's Card or equivalent certifications.
• ServeSafe certification or able to complete course and pass test as administered by a Break Time ServeSafe proctor.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for change and shift reports.
• Ability to operate a computer and office productivity tools.
• Ability to meet company requirements including pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers; provide fast, friendly service and handle complaints.
• Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepare and present food items following guidelines and recipes; monitor temperatures and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment and areas.
• Assist in supervising and training team members on prep and execution.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Support management in store operations and loss-control tasks.
