Job summary

The Virginia Center for Behavioral Rehabilitation (VCBR) seeks a Food Service Supervisor to lead kitchen operations, supervise multiple sections of a comprehensive food service system, and ensure hot and cold food production, sanitation, tray assembly, and storage meet quality standards.

You will assist management with cost control, food safety, service delivery, and customer satisfaction, provide coverage for kitchen operations, and be prepared to work emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Experience in a Food Service setting as a supervisor is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead worker supervising multiple sections of a food service system.
• Oversee hot and cold food production, sanitation, tray line assembly, transport, and storage.
• Assist management with cost control, safety, quality of service, and sanitation.
• Provide coverage for kitchen operations and respond in emergencies.
