Job summary

ShopRite of Stratford in Stratford, CT, is seeking a Food Service Manager to supervise all functions of the Food Service Department and lead associates toward department goals, including sales, profit, customer experience, and engagement.

You will ensure safety, freshness, quality, and compliance, train and onboard new staff, and maintain cleaning schedules, inventory, and records while delivering world-class service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English; interpret basic information.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle daily tasks.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to operate basic computer functions.
• Ability to lead and engage store associates to meet goals.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
• Ability to manage schedules and attendance policies.
• Ability to follow safety, HACCP, and company procedures.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities
