Job summary

ShopRite of Milford is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead the Food Service Department and its associates. The role focuses on sales, profit, customer experience, and staff engagement under the General Store Manager's guidance.

Qualifications include strong English communication, basic math, physical stamina for lifting up to 60 lbs, and food safety knowledge. You’ll supervise safety, presentation, and efficiency across the department to meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Stand/walk for full shift and lift 25–60 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency and food safety awareness.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Food Service Department.
• Lead associates to achieve department goals and customer experience targets.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain temperature logs and production sheets; manage inventories and pricing.
• Provide training and coaching to new department associates.
