Hy-Vee Cedar Rapids is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead the Market Grille division, oversee quality, staffing, menus, and profitability. You will partner with chefs and department managers to deliver high-quality food at competitive prices while fostering a culture of hospitality.

You will hire and train staff, manage inventory, and monitor safety and sanitation standards to ensure exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide friendly service.
• Oversee food quality and presentation across Market Grille, Mia Italian, Hy-Chi, and related depots.
• Plan menus with chefs to ensure flavor, popularity, and cost effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory and coordinating provisioning and purchasing with chefs.
• Hire, train, and schedule food service staff; set department standards.
• Analyze weekly sales, forecast, and contribute to marketing efforts to boost revenue.
