Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

Shifts are 40 hours weekly, with schedules between 5:00am and 8:30pm, and every other weekend and holiday. A strong customer-service background in food service or similar environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal selection and menu collection.
• Deliver and serve meals while providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure meals are served accurately, attractively, and within established timeframes.
• Verify patient identification and follow department procedures during meal service.
• Respond professionally to patient requests and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned work areas.
• Follow food safety, hand hygiene, and infection prevention standards.
• Communicate patient feedback to the healthcare team.

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Shifts scheduled between 5:00am and 8:30pm
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Please note: We are not considering high school students for this position at this time.
